
Partner & Co-Founder Joe Ravitch
Joe is a Co-Founder and Partner of Raine. Joe is active across all of Raine’s businesses and works closely with large global and regional entertainment, sports and digital media conglomerates as well as earlier-stage, high-growth media companies as an advisor and investor. Based in Los Angeles, Joe also spends considerable time in New York, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Joe serves on the boards of Propagate Media, Imagine Entertainment and Candle Media, all Raine portfolio companies.
Prior to Raine, Joe was a senior Partner at Goldman Sachs where he spent approximately 16 years based in London, Hong Kong and New York working on both principal and advisory transactions in the sports, media and telecommunications industries including significant deals such as the creation of the YES Network, the sale of MGM Studios and the spinoff and creation of NBA China. While at Goldman, Joe was responsible for creating and building several important businesses including the Asian TMT business, the sports practice and the entertainment finance group. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Joe worked as an attorney for Cleary Gotlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, London and Moscow where he helped found the firm’s Russian practice. Joe also clerked for Judge Pierre N. Leval in the Southern District of New York.
Joe graduated from Amherst College, magna cum laude, and has a J.D. from the Yale Law School.

Partner & Co-Founder Jeff Sine
Jeff is a Co-Founder and Partner of Raine. Prior to founding Raine, Jeff was Vice Chairman and Global Head of Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank. He joined UBS in April 2001 and was named a board member in 2003. Prior to that, Jeff was Global Head of Media Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. Jeff’s clients have included many of the leading global media, technology and communications companies.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Jeff was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and London. Jeff is a current or past board member of The Manhattan Theatre Club, The International Radio and Television Society, The Museum of Television and Radio Media Center, National Public Radio (NPR) (Chair), The USC Annenberg School of Communication/Law Center Joint Venture, ITHAKA, Educational Testing Service (Chair), TelevisaUnivision, ARM Limited, and American University. He has also produced many plays and musicals over the past two decades on Broadway and in London’s West End, and is a three-time Tony Award winner.
Jeff also serves on the boards of many Raine portfolio companies and subsidiaries.
Jeff has a B.A. from American University and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.

Partner, Co-Founder, President Brandon Gardner
Brandon is Co-Founder and President at Raine. Prior to Raine, Brandon founded and was the senior operating officer of Serengeti Asset Management LP, a multi-strategy investment advisor based in New York City with in excess of $1 billion in assets under management. During his tenure at Serengeti, Brandon was an active member of the investment team, managing sector- and strategy-specific portfolios as well as the firm’s private investment opportunities. He also managed the launch of four different funds and numerous other investment vehicles, and was responsible for overseeing all of the operations of the firm.
Prior to joining Serengeti in 2007, Brandon was a practicing attorney at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from 1999 to 2007. While at Cleary Gottlieb, Brandon gained significant experience in complex mergers & acquisitions and structured securities transactions and financing arrangements, representing and advising a wide variety of investment banking and corporate clients. He dealt with myriad cross-border international securities laws and complex corporate and capital market transactions, and gained expertise in both SEC-registered and private securities offerings. Brandon is on the board of directors of Foursquare, Imagine Entertainment, RCX Sports, Firebird, and is Chairman of the Board at Olo, all portfolio companies of Raine.
Brandon has a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, a B.S. from The Wharton School and a J.D. from Columbia University where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Partner & Co-Founder John Salter
John is a Co-Founder and Partner of Raine. John is responsible for Raine’s interactive entertainment, real money gaming and digital media practice. Prior to Raine, John was Global Head of Digital Media at UBS Investment Bank where he had worked for over eight years in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group in San Francisco. Prior to UBS, John worked in the Internet and New Media group at Volpe, Brown, Whelan & Co. in San Francisco.
While at Raine, John has led Raine’s investments in DraftKings (NASD: DKNG), Beachbody, Games24x7, Huuuge, Zumba Fitness and Jagex. He has led a variety of advisory assignments, including raising $3.0B for Epic Games in two transactions, DraftKings’ combination with Diamond Eagle and SBTech, the sale of Playtika (a unit of Caesars Interactive) to a consortium led by Shanghai Giant Network Technology, SoftBank’s sale of its majority stake in Supercell to Tencent, the sale of Double Down Interactive (a unit of International Game Technology) to an affiliate of DoubleU Games, Legendary Entertainment’s sale to Wanda, among other transactions. John is on the board of directors of Midnite, Huuuge, Beachbody and Games24x7, all Raine portfolio companies, and is a board observer of DraftKings and Fliff.
John has a B.A. from Stanford University.

Partner & Co-Founder Deborah Mei
Deborah is a Co-Founder and Partner of Raine. Deborah is responsible for Raine’s Asia practice based in Singapore. Prior to Raine, Deborah was a Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific Consumer, Retail, Gaming and Industrial Investment Banking for Morgan Stanley, based in Hong Kong. Deborah worked at Morgan Stanley for over 14 years, during which time she was also Chief Operating Officer for the Investment Banking division in Asia as well as a member of the Asia-Pacific Telecom & Media team.
Since Raine’s inception, Deborah has been active across all of Raine’s industry sectors, working with both large cap and early stage Chinese and global companies. Deborah led the investment into Focus Media and has worked closely with many of Raine’s portfolio companies, including Imagine Entertainment, SoundCloud, Vice and Wattpad, helping them with their China growth strategies, capital raises and partnerships. She has led all advisory assignments out of China, including the $2.2 bn sale of SpinX to Netmarble, the sale of Moonton to ByteDance, and the creation of and capital raises for WME|IMG China and IMAX China, amongst others. She is involved in all of the firm’s advisory transactions where an Asian company is a counterpart.
Deborah has a B.A. from Cornell University, and an M.A. from The Joseph H. Lauder Institute and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business, both at the University of Pennsylvania.

Partner Fred Davis
Fred is a Partner at Raine. Since joining the firm in July 2014, Fred has focused on both advising and investing across the global digital media/technology sector for high growth and earlier stage companies, including Warner Music, SoundCloud, Downtown Music, BenevolentAI and Moonbug. Fred divides his time between Raine’s London and New York offices. Prior to Raine, Fred was one of the three Founding Partners of CODE Advisors, where he worked with companies such as Spotify, Supercell, Shazam and Buddy Media. Before founding CODE in 2010, Fred was the founding Partner of the leading Entertainment/New Media Law Firm of Davis Shapiro & Lewit. Fred is on the board of directors of Firebird and SoundCloud, both Raine portfolio companies.
Formerly an Executive Vice President at EMI Records, Fred has received the ACLU’s Bill of Rights Award and the UJA Music Visionary of the Year Award, and was a member of the board of directors for the 9/11 Fund. He received his B.A. from Tufts University in 1981 and his J.D. from Fordham Law in 1985.

Partner Christopher Donini
Chris is a Partner at Raine. Since joining Raine in 2014, Chris has executed numerous investments and advisory assignments, helping clients and portfolio partners develop and execute on their growth strategies through a variety of engagements across Raine’s technology, media and telecom verticals. Chris is involved in Raine’s growth equity investments and portfolio companies, including helping to lead Raine’s activities in TelevisaUnivision and PubNub (where he serves on the board of directors). Notable advisory assignments include the landmark $5.2 billion Arm IPO; the $21 billion merger of WWE and UFC; the proposed $40 billion sale of Arm to NVIDIA; the $188 billion merger of Sprint and T-Mobile and SoftBank’s subsequent $20 billion stake sale; the development and execution of Endeavor’s corporate strategy, including 20+ M&A transactions (including its acquisitions of On Location & OpenBet, and its divestiture of Endeavor Content), capital raises at both its parent and China subsidiary, and advisor on Endeavor’s IPO; advising SoftBank on the restructuring of WeWork; advising the MSG Entertainment Special Committee on its proposed merger with MSG Networks; helping formulate Fandango’s international expansion strategy and the resulting expansion into Latin America; and advising Starz’s Special Committee on its sale to Lionsgate.
Prior to joining Raine, Chris worked in the Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking Group at Citigroup, where he worked on key media and telecommunications M&A and financing transactions, notably Sprint’s sale to SoftBank and Sprint’s subsequent acquisition of Clearwire.
Chris has a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

Partner Garrett Gomes
Garrett is a Partner at Raine. He helps lead the firm’s principal investments and advisory assignments in the sports and real money gaming sectors.
While at Raine, Garrett has executed numerous investments and advisory assignments, helping clients and portfolio partners develop and execute on their growth strategies. Notable engagements include Raine’s investment in DraftKings beginning in 2014 and continued work alongside DraftKings’ management on major M&A opportunities, such as DraftKings’ business combination with SBTech and its acquisition of Golden Nugget Online Gaming; long-term advisory relationship with Endeavor, including both the $4bn sale of UFC to Endeavor and Endeavor’s acquisition of OpenBet; the sale of the MLS’ New York City expansion franchise (NYCFC); the sale of a $1.6bn minority stake in Manchester United to Sir Jim Ratcliffe; the $750mm sale of Jackpocket to DraftKings; and many additional capital raises and M&A opportunities across the sports and real money gaming sectors.
Garrett also helps lead Raine’s investing efforts within Raine’s dedicated Gaming Fund, with recent investments including Jackpocket, Midnite (where he serves on the board of directors) and Fliff (where he serves on the board of directors).
Garrett has a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Partner Erik Hodge
Erik is a Partner at Raine, where he leads the firm’s Los Angeles office and its efforts in Entertainment and Content. With over 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, Erik has played a key role in several of Raine’s major investments and advisory transactions. He was involved in Skydance’s proposed deal with Paramount. His other high-profile transactions include work with clients such as Endeavor, Park County, Candle Media, Universal, Warner Bros., Disney, Legendary Entertainment, Fifth Season and Weta Digital.
Erik currently serves on the board of directors for Imagine Entertainment, Propagate Content, VideoAmp, and Mediawan, all Raine portfolio companies. Prior to joining Raine, Erik built a career in the entertainment industry and has been recognized as one of Hollywood’s Top 20 Dealmakers by The Hollywood Reporter, in addition to being featured in Variety’s annual Dealmakers Impact Report.
Erik holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Partner Anthony Kontoleon
Anthony (“AK”) spent 28 years at Credit Suisse, beginning in Industrials M&A and ultimately serving as the Global Head of ECM Syndicate, overseeing all IPOs, Follow-ons, SPACs, Private Placements and Risk trades. His experience across capital markets and investment banking includes personally advising high-profile growth companies such as Alibaba, Google, DraftKings, Palantir, and Manchester United, among hundreds of others, on going public and raising equity. He has also worked alongside Raine on private capital raises for DraftKings and Epic Games.
In 2023, AK served as Partner and CEO of the Americas at Azura Partners, a Monaco-based global wealth manager with $5 billion in assets under management. He led the firm’s Strategic Opportunities Group globally, focusing on investing in mid- to late-stage growth companies.
Anthony has a B.A. from Amherst College, where he graduated with Honors as a double major in Economics and Psychology.

Partner Colin Neville
Colin Neville is a Partner at Raine and joined the firm at its inception in 2009. Colin leads Raine’s sports practice, overseeing its principal investing and advisory efforts in the space.
Colin has helped lead Raine’s investments in DraftKings, Olo (where he serves on the board of directors), Premier Lacrosse League, Beachbody, Zumba Fitness and Jagex. He has worked on a variety of advisory assignments across the global sports landscape, including the sale of Chelsea Football Club, the sale of the UFC to Endeavor, City Football Group’s sale of minority interests to Silver Lake and China Media Capital, DraftKings’ combination with Diamond Eagle and SBTech, Joe Tsai’s acquisition of the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center, Fanatics capital raise from the NFL and MLB, Steve Ballmer’s purchase of the Los Angeles Clippers, the acquisition of Inter Miami CF, the sale of DC United, FC Cincinnati’s sale of minority interest to Meg Whitman, WME’s acquisition of IMG and Flash Entertainment’s purchase of a minority stake in the UFC. Colin works extensively with leagues and teams, as well as technology, data services and media companies across the sports landscape.
In 2015, the M&A Advisor recognized Colin as a 40 Under 40 Emerging Leader in the Dealmaker Category and in 2016, 2022, and 2023 Sports Business Journal named him a recipient of its Forty Under 40 Award.
Prior to joining Raine, Colin worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch with a focus on TMT. He has a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University and is a former Division 1 athlete.

Partner & Co-Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Joe Puthenveetil
Joe is a Partner and Co-Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Raine. Joe joined the Firm in 2010 and has worked on principal and advisory transactions across the media, entertainment and technology sectors, helping lead Raine’s music and live entertainment efforts.
While at Raine, Joe has worked on a variety of transactions including the sale of AVL Digital (CD Baby) to Downtown Music Publishing, the capital raise for music label / publisher Hitco Entertainment, SoftBank’s acquisition of Sprint, various SoftBank investments in the Indian tech sector, the sale of DramaFever to Warner Brothers, and the sale of Secret Sounds to Live Nation. Joe has also helped lead a number of Raine’s investments, including SoundCloud, Blackbird Presents and C3 Presents (sold to Live Nation). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of SoundCloud, Firebird, and Blackbird Presents.
Prior to Raine, Joe worked at merchant bank Grail Partners where he advised and invested in asset management and financial technology companies.
Joe has a B.S. from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

Partner Todd Rosoff
Todd is a Partner at Raine. Todd focuses on advisory and capital raising assignments across interactive entertainment and digital media. Selected transactions include the sale of SoftBank Vision Fund’s stake in Flipkart to Walmart, the sale of Big Fish Games to Aristocrat, the sale of SoftBank’s stake in Supercell to a consortium led by Tencent, the sale of Playtika to Giant and capital raising assignments for leading interactive entertainment companies such as Epic Games and others. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dorian, and is an observer for Huuuge, both Raine portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Raine, Todd was at UBS Investment Bank focusing on advisory and financing assignments across the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector. Prior to UBS, Todd worked at Technology Crossover Ventures, a leading provider of growth capital to technology companies. Todd began his career in the Technology Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Robertson Stephens & Company.
In addition to his for-profit experience, Todd served as a research consultant to the Fritz Institute, a non-profit institute focused on improving the supply chain capabilities of leading humanitarian organizations engaged in disaster response.
Todd received both a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. with honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Partner & Co-Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Jason Schretter
Jason is a Partner and Co-Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Raine. Upon joining the firm in May 2010, Jason focused on both investing and advising, leading several of Raine’s keynote transactions, including Sprint Corporation’s merger with T-Mobile USA, Grab’s acquisition of Uber Southeast Asia and SoftBank’s acquisitions of ARM Holdings and Sprint Corporation. In October 2016, Jason moved to London to lead Raine’s efforts across EMEA where he has continued to drive Raine’s advisory efforts, including the sale of equity stakes in all 8 teams participating in The Hundred, the sale of a significant minority stake in Crystal Palace F.C., the sale of Olympique Lyon, the sale of Roald Dahl Story Company and the sale of Moonbug Entertainment, while also expanding Raine’s growth equity presence in Europe, leading the firm’s investments in Moonbug Entertainment, Castore and Voi Technology.
Prior to Raine, Jason spent five years at UBS Investment Bank, where he worked on several landmark transactions, including the formation of Comcast’s JV with NBCU, Liberty Global’s acquisition of Unitymedia and the restructuring of Charter Communications. Before UBS, Jason spent five years at General Electric, graduating from the company’s Financial Management Program, followed by roles in Structured Finance and M&A.
Jason currently serves on the board of directors of Castore, Voi Technology and NextPlus – all Raine portfolio companies.
Jason has a B.A. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from London Business School.

Partner Quincy Smith
Quincy is a Partner at Raine. Quincy has 30 years’ experience advising, investing and operating in the technology and media industry. Quincy joined Raine in June 2023 from Code Advisors, an independent merchant bank that Quincy co-founded in 2010 and that Raine has agreed to acquire. Code advised and grew alongside companies including Spotify, Twitter, Penn Entertainment, CBS and Discovery among others and successfully helped sell companies to Salesforce, Google, Comcast, Airbnb, Apple, Snap, Vox and others. Quincy formerly served as Chief Executive Officer of CBS Interactive for the CBS Corporation where he ran CBS.com, CBSNews.com, and Sportsline and acquired CNET among other projects.
Prior to joining CBS in November 2006, Quincy was an investment banker at Allen & Company where he was involved in multiple transactions for Google, AOL, Yahoo, Comcast and CNET while also managing investments in Sling Media among other transactions. Previously, Quincy spent five years at Netscape Communications where he ran Corporate Development and Investor Relations and played a role in over 20 joint ventures, investments and acquisitions including Netscape’s ultimate sale to AOL. Quincy began his professional career as an investment banker for Morgan Stanley’s Technology Group.
Quincy has a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale College.

Partner Jake Vachal
Jake is a Partner at Raine, where he leads Raine’s advertising, consumer, and e-commerce practice.
Jake is a board director of Essor and a board observer of Foursquare, both Raine portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Raine in 2020, Jake was a Managing Director at Perella Weinberg, where he advised clients globally on a wide range of strategic transactions across the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors. Previously, Jake was a Vice President at Lazard in their TMT group, an Associate at Barclays in their Communications & Media Group, and an Analyst at UBS Investment Bank in their Mergers & Acquisitions Group.
Jake has a B.S. in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.

Partner Brett Varsov
Brett is a Partner and Head of M&A at Raine where he is responsible for the firm’s global Mergers and Acquisitions practice. At Raine, and during his career, Brett has initiated and executed mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory assignments, investments and financing transactions for many of the world’s leading and emerging media and technology companies.
Prior to joining Raine, he was in the Technology, Media and Telecom and Mergers and Acquisitions groups at Goldman Sachs where he focused on media and technology companies and worked on public and private M&A, initial public offerings and other strategic and financial advisory transactions. Prior to this, Brett worked in the Media and Telecom group at Citigroup within the Investment Banking division. Previously, he acted as director of business development for Digital Club Network (an early digital music venture), founded and published a regional newspaper, and worked in the marketing group of Miller Publishing. Brett is on the board of directors of RCX Sports, a Raine portfolio company.
Brett has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Partner Sherri Williams
Sherri is a Partner at Raine. She is the Head of Investor Relations and Fundraising. Prior to joining Raine, she was a Principal at Montgomery & Co., a west-coast based digital media and technology investment bank and a senior member of the Private Placements team in the firm’s New York office. Prior to Montgomery, Sherri was an Executive Director at JPMorgan and a senior member of the New York equity private placements team.
From 2001 to 2006, Sherri was a Vice President at Rothschild in the private placement group working on a variety of debt, mezzanine and equity private placements for both domestic and European companies. Sherri also worked with the M&A group on financial sponsor coverage and with a team to develop the family’s mezzanine co-investment fund. Prior to Rothschild, Sherri was an Associate and Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Private Finance and Consumer Products investment groups.
Sherri has a B.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service where she played on the Division I tennis team. She has an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. She is on the Board of Trustees for the Randall’s Island Park Alliance, one of NYC’s major parks with significant sports and recreation facilities, and the Board of Directors for Maureen’s Haven, a homeless services organization serving the Hamptons and surrounding areas.

Partner, CIFT Kevin Linker
Kevin is the Managing Partner of Raine Next-Gen Communications. Previously, Kevin worked at Serengeti Asset Management LP (2007-2011), a multi-strategy investment advisor based in New York City with over $1 billion in assets under management. He joined the fund pre-launch and assisted with the build out of the fund’s infrastructure, team and investment portfolio. Kevin was responsible for identifying, researching and managing all of the fund’s investments in the global technology sector, as well as the gaming, lodging and leisure sectors. He evaluated investments across multiple asset classes, including equities (long / short), credit (distressed, performing, credit default swaps) and private companies. He also served on steering committees and creditors committees in several distressed situations.
Prior to joining Serengeti, Kevin worked in the consumer group at Maverick Capital (2006), investing in the gaming, lodging and leisure sectors; worked at Viking Global Investors (2003-2005), investing in the global technology sector; worked at Pivotal Asset Management (1999-2001), a technology focused cross-over fund; and worked in the technology mergers and acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley (1994-1997).
Kevin has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Managing Partner, Raine Ventures Gordon Rubenstein
Gordon is the Managing Partner of Raine Ventures where he leads Raine’s venture capital group. Prior to joining Raine in 2013, Gordon founded and managed Pacific Partners, an operationally-focused venture capital partnership with backing from George Soros, Sam Zell, leading technology executives and entrepreneurs, as well as partners from KKR, Silver Lake and Freeman Spogli.
In addition, Gordon co-founded Astro Gaming (owned by Logitech (Nasdaq: LOGI), Rave Digital Media (acquired by AMC Entertainment (Nasdaq: AMC)) and Accel Entertainment (Nasdaq: ACEL). Currently, he serves on the board of directors of Happn, Tastemade Inc., Antenna, Inc., Rock The Bells, Accel Entertainment, and Material Bank and was involved at the board level and / or actively involved with Machinima, ZEFR, eHarmony, VivaReal, Audience Science, BigMachines (acquired by Oracle), Convio (listed publicly on Nasdaq, then acquired by Blackbaud (Nasdaq: BLKB)), Wrap Media, Inc., Rising Tide Games, Inc. and StarMaker Interactive, Inc. Gordon also co-chairs the San Francisco Education Fund Leadership Council.
Gordon has an A.B. from the University of Michigan.

Managing Director Rounak Chandak
Rounak is a Managing Director at Raine.
He has over 12 years of experience in investment banking and M&A in India across his roles at Raine, Moelis & Company, Dream Sports, and Deutsche Bank. Rounak has advised on a range of mergers & acquisitions and private capital-raising transactions across the TMT, consumer, and consumer internet sectors.
His notable transaction experience at Raine includes the $8.5 billion merger of Disney’s India business with Reliance’s media business, as well as fundraises for Games24x7 and FabHotels (TravelPlus). His notable transaction experience at his former workplaces includes fundraises for Pepperfry, and Hector Beverages; Silver Eagle’s acquisition of Videocon d2h; InterGlobe Technology Quotient’s minority stake sale to Capital Group; and KKR’s acquisition of J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals.
Rounak holds an M.B.A. from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur.

Managing Director Evan Ellsworth
Evan is a Managing Director at Raine, having joined the firm in 2020.
Since then, he has advised clients on various strategic transactions within Raine’s core sectors, including entertainment, gaming, music, and technology. His notable transaction experience includes multiple M&A deals with Endeavor, the sales of Chord Music Partners and DanceOne, capital raises for gamma. and Create Music Group, and Tiga Acquisition Corp’s merger with Grindr.
Before joining Raine, Evan worked in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets division at Credit Suisse, where he was involved in numerous M&A and financing transactions for clients in the Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging, and Financial Sponsors groups.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College and later received an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Managing Director Robert Frech
Rob is a Managing Director at Raine, where he focuses on advisory and principal investing across the music, media, and entertainment sectors.
Throughout his time at Raine, Rob has advised a wide range of companies and investors on strategic transactions across buy-side and sell-side M&A and capital raises. His experience includes working with leading music and media strategics and platforms, including Gamma, Downtown, Quality Control, Alamo Records, Warner Music Group, CD Baby, FUGA, Vydia, IMGN Media, Hitco Entertainment, among others.
He has also helped lead Raine’s principal investments in Firebird Music and SoundCloud.
Prior to his current role, Rob served as a senior executive at a private-equity backed music platform, Gamma, where he led corporate development and strategy, including M&A, strategic partnerships, and capital markets activity, and worked closely with the company’s board and institutional investors, including Apple, Eldridge, and Alpha Wave.
Earlier in his career, Rob spent nearly a decade at Raine.
Rob holds a B.A. in Music and Financial Economics from Columbia University.

Managing Director Brooks Hansen
Brooks is a Managing Director at Raine and helps lead the firm’s efforts in the entertainment and content sectors.
While at Raine, Brooks has advised clients on a number of strategic and growth transactions, including the sale of the Roald Dahl Story Company to Netflix, the sale of The Infatuation to JP Morgan Chase, CJ ENM’s investment into Skydance, the formation of the film & TV studio Picturestart, the creation of BET+ with Tyler Perry Studios, capital raises for Endeavor, and the formation of Endeavor China.
Prior to joining Raine, Brooks worked in the Investment Banking group at Morgan Stanley as well as the Motion Picture & Television departments at WME. Brooks received a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from The Marshall School of Business at The University of Southern California.

Managing Director Kenny Lee
Kenny is a Managing Director at Raine and joined the firm in 2014. Kenny is primarily focused on advisory and principal assignments within the gaming and interactive entertainment sectors.
While at Raine, Kenny has worked on a variety of transactions including: Sprint’s merger with T-Mobile, Epic Games’ $1.8bn private placement, the sale of SYBO (Subway Surfers) to Miniclip, Caesars Entertainment’s sale of Playtika to Giant Interactive, and the sale of UFC to Endeavor. He is also currently actively involved in Raine’s investments in DraftKings, Olo, Tripledot, and Huuuge Games.
Kenny helps lead Raine’s gaming investment strategy, including investments in Dorian and Zebedee where he serves as Board Observer.
Kenny graduated cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics and a language citation in Chinese.

Managing Director Yingcun Luo
Yingcun Luo is a founding member and managing director at Raine. Yingcun helps lead the firm’s China practice based in Shanghai.
Since joining in 2010, Yingcun has executed >$10bn financial advisory transactions with a focus on China cross-border efforts. Representative transactions include the sale of SpinX to Netmarble, the sale of Moonton to Bytedance, Endeavor’s acquisition of Mailman, Universal Pictures film slate financing from Perfect World, the sale of PPTV to Suning, and the sale of Dick Clark Productions to Guggenheim Partners, Mandalay Entertainment and Mosaic Media Investments. Yingcun also advised on the formation of China joint ventures for Endeavor, IMAX, and Warner Bros.
Yingcun has a M.S. in Economics from School of Business and Management of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a B.S. in Physics from Yuanpei School of Peking University.

Managing Director Judy McLellan
Judy is a Managing Director at Raine.
Prior to joining Raine, Judy worked at Credit Suisse where she served as Group COO for the Global Energy, Real Estate Gaming & Lodging, and Los Angeles investment banking groups. Prior to this role, Judy worked in the Consumer Retail investment banking team based in New York. She began her career as a business analyst at Morgan Stanley based in both New York and London.
Judy graduated from Dartmouth College, majoring in Sociology and Government, and has an M.B.A. from MIT with a concentration in Finance.

Managing Director Daniel Miller
Dan is a Managing Director at Raine.
Since joining Raine in 2015, Dan has been primarily focused on principal and advisory assignments, with a focus on the firm’s effort across advertising, brands, commerce, and creators.
While at Raine, Dan has assisted a number of Raine’s clients and portfolio companies in developing and executing on their growth strategies, having worked on select transactions, including Influential’s sale to Publicis Groupe, MyCode’s sale to Ariel Alternatives, Sprint’s merger with T-Mobile, SoftBank’s sale of its stake in Supercell to Tencent, the development of Endeavor’s corporate strategy and initial public offering, PGA Tour’s $3.0bn private placement, Fanatics’ $1.0bn private placement, FC Cincinnati’s $150mm private placement, and Foursquare’s acquisitions of Placed, Factual, and Unfolded. Dan is actively involved in Raine’s investments in Premier Lacrosse League, Textplus, Robin, GenXComm, PubNub, and Foursquare, the latter of which he serves as a board observer.

Managing Director Jessica Payne
Jessica is a Managing Director at Raine.
While at Raine, Jessica has worked on a variety of transactions across the firm’s verticals, including Softbank’s sale of ARM to NVIDIA, Accel Entertainment’s sale to TPG Pace Holdings (SPAC), Apollo and ecoATM’s sale of a minority stake to Cowen Sustainable Advisors, and TV Time’s acquisition of Mediamorph.
Prior to joining Raine, Jessica worked at CODE Advisors where she focused on M&A and financing transactions for technology and media clients. Prior to that, Jessica worked in the Investment Banking division of Citigroup, where she focused on transactions for clients in the TMT and Consumer verticals.

Managing Director Jonathan Pflug
Jon is a Managing Director at Raine, where he focuses on the firm’s business in Asia.
Prior to Raine, Jon was the Head of South East Asia M&A and Head of Singapore Coverage at Morgan Stanley. In this capacity, Jon was responsible for M&A and capital raises in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. At Morgan Stanley, Jon also worked in Hong Kong as a member of the Asia Pacific M&A team, including a period as Chief Operations Officer for Asia-Pacific M&A.
Partway through his career at Morgan Stanley, Jon served in the Singapore Government. He worked in economic strategy at the Ministry of Finance and in policy development at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Jon has a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University. Jon also has a Master in East Asian Studies from Harvard University, where his research work focused on East Asian economic developments.

Managing Director Peter Randaccio
Pete is a Managing Director at Raine.
Prior to joining Raine, Pete worked in the TMT Investment Banking group at Goldman Sachs where he focused on strategic advisory and capital markets assignments for media and entertainment clients. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Pete spent five years in the entertainment industry at The Walt Disney Company, Amazon Studios, and DreamWorks Animation.

Managing Director Michael Sabeti
Michael is a Managing Director at Raine and joined the firm in 2015. He is primarily focused on advisory and principal efforts across the music and live entertainment sectors.
Throughout his time at Raine, Michael has worked on a wide range of transactions, including the sale of Serato to Tiny Ltd., the sale of Stem Distribution to Concord, the sale of Opus Music, CVC’s minority investment in Superstruct Entertainment, Create Music Group’s $165 million capital raise from Flexpoint Ford, the landmark $5.2 billion Arm IPO, and the $21 billion merger of WWE and UFC.
Michael supports Raine’s investments in Duetti, Firebird Music, SoundCloud, and TelevisaUnivision. He has also led and supported several Raine portfolio company realizations, including the sales of Reigning Champs, Thrill One Sports & Entertainment, and Parchment.
Prior to joining Raine, Michael worked at C3 Presents, a former portfolio company of a Raine-sponsored fund. Michael graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Finance.

Managing Director Joe Tillman
Joe is a Managing Director at Raine, where he leads the firm’s Private Capital Markets practice.
He oversees direct private equity, private credit and hybrid capital raises for Raine’s advisory clients and portfolio companies. Additionally, he advises financial sponsors and investors on a range of private market financings. Joe’s expertise encompasses a variety of financing solutions, including growth capital, minority recapitalizations, acquisition financing, pre-IPO private placements and dividend recapitalizations. His transaction experience includes capital raises for Epic Games, Miami CF, Elvie, gamma., Park County, and Manchester United, as well as advisory engagements for prominent investors such as Apollo and BlackRock.
Before joining Raine, Joe practiced law at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, specializing in private equity.
Joe received a B.A. in finance from California State University San Bernardino, graduating with honors, and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was a Senior Executive Editor of the NYU Law Review.

Managing Director Alex Verbitsky
Alex is a Managing Director focused on Raine’s gaming sector throughout Europe.
Previously, he spent three years at Tripledot Studios, overseeing corporate strategy and M&A efforts. Alex’s experience also includes working as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on strategic growth initiatives and at WeWork, where he held key leadership roles, including Regional CFO for EMEA and Senior Director of Corporate Development, focusing on building the finance function and leading strategic projects. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at Goldman Sachs, specializing in M&A and capital markets.
Alex received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Managing Director Dara Willoughby
Dara is a Managing Director at Raine.
Since 2015, Dara has been involved with over $15bn of gaming transactions. At Raine, notable transactions include Caesars’ sale of Playtika to Shanghai Giant Network Technology, Churchill Downs’ sale of Big Fish Games to Aristocrat, CCP Games’ sale to Pearl Abyss, and Epic Games’ 2018 $1.25bn capital raise. Dara is on the board of Voldex, home to Brookhaven the most visited game on Roblox, and helped lead a number of Raine’s gaming investments including Huuuge Games (HUG:WSE) and Games24x7.
Dara formerly served as the Director of Finance and Corporate Development at Epic Games. In this role, she was involved in the acquisitions of Tonic Games, RAD Game Tools, and Psyonix, Epic Games’ investment in Manticore, and several multi-billion dollar private capital raises. Dara started her career at McKinsey & Company.

Managing Director Ari Zelman
Ari is a Managing Director at Raine. He helps lead the firm’s principal investments and advisory assignments in the sports sector.
Since joining Raine, Ari has worked on a variety of transactions including Manchester United’s minority investment from Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Chelsea FC’s sale to a consortium led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, and MSG Entertainment’s acquisition of MSG Networks. Venture Capital Partner, Raine Ventures Aditya Harnal
Aditya is a Venture Capital Partner at Raine Ventures and helps lead the firm’s early stage investments. He was previously a Vice President on the growth equity and advisory side of the business at Raine.
Aditya brings extensive experience and a deep network of relationships in technology, consumer, marketplaces, brands and retail and has spent time at Raine leading the firm’s efforts in such spaces. His investments include Heyday, Xpoint, MusicInfra, Talkshoplive and Barn2Door. He sits on the board of MusicInfra and is a board observer at Xpoint, Antenna, Talkshoplive, and Barn2Door.
Prior to Raine, Aditya worked at two Silicon Valley startups in the technology space, most recently leading Strategic Finance at Shift and previously working in business development at CircleUp. He began his career in investment banking at Lazard in the firm’s Consumer & Retail M&A group in New York and graduated summa cum laude from Connecticut College with a B.A. in Economics & International Relations.

Director of Wealth Advisory Stephen O'Kane
Stephen O’Kane is Director of Wealth Advisory at Raine, where he focuses on developing the firm’s relationships with single-family offices, multi-family offices, and the principals who lead them across Europe and internationally, with a particular emphasis on creative capital and the sports, music, and entertainment ecosystem.
Prior to Raine, Stephen served as Principal at Heritage Holdings, a European multi-family office founded by Niccolò Ferragamo and a group of prominent European families, advising private clients, creative talent principals, and next-generation wealth owners. Before Heritage, he served as a Director at AlTi Tiedemann Global, the Nasdaq listed multi-family office operating across Europe and North America, where he worked with families, sports, entertainment, and creative talent clients alongside emerging next-generation principals, with a significant focus on US based relationships.
Earlier in his career, Stephen founded and led a practice focused on sports, media, and entertainment, working with athletes, artists, clubs, and ownership groups on cross-border investment strategy over more than a decade.

Lisa is a Director of Investor Relations and Fundraising at Raine.
Prior to joining Raine, Lisa led investor relations and business development at Conversion Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on fintech, data, and cloud infrastructure companies. Prior to Conversion Capital, Lisa spent seven years working in real estate private equity at Group RMC and Time Equities. Lisa was a Vice President and Senior Associate in investor relations and business development where she managed investor relationships and fundraising across a variety of asset classes and geographies.

Vice President Tommaso Armanini
Tommaso is a Vice President at Raine. Tommaso focuses on supporting the firm’s EMEA principal and advisory activities primarily in sports, live entertainment, and media.

Avidha is a Vice President at Raine. Vice President Ethan Goldberg

Vice President Teddy Kleinman
Teddy is a Vice President at Raine.
Teddy is a key member of the firm’s sports and real money gaming teams, focusing on supporting companies across Raine’s principal and advisory work in both sectors. Since joining the firm in 2018, Teddy has executed numerous investments and advisory assignments. Notable transactions include Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s investment into Manchester United, the sale of Chelsea FC, DraftKings’ three-way merger with Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp. (SPAC) and SBTech, Silver Lake’s minority investment into City Football Group, Endeavor’s purchase of OpenBet from Scientific Games, the sale of Jackpocket to DraftKings, and DraftKings’ purchase of Golden Nugget Online Gaming. Vice President Jake Lau
Jake is a Vice President at Raine.
Prior to joining Raine, Jake worked as a Strategy (M&A) Senior at LemmaTree, a Temasek-backed venture building and investment platform, where he focused on M&A, investments and partnership opportunities.
Prior to LemmaTree, Jake was an Investment Banking analyst in Credit Suisse Singapore’s M&A team, focusing on M&A transactions across Southeast Asia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with Honors (Distinction) from the National University of Singapore.

Vice President Chris Nee
Chris joined Raine in 2025 and has been primarily focused on principal and advisory assignments in technology. Prior to Raine, Chris spent 4 years at Qatalyst Partners focused on strategic and financial advisory for technology clients. Chris began his career at PwC as a management consultant in the M&A Advisory group working with Microsoft, HP, Pfizer and other Fortune 500 companies on post-merger integration and separation planning.

Andrea Pascual is a Vice President at Raine. Adonis is a Vice President at Raine. He joined the Firm in 2022 and is based in Raine’s Paris office.

Landon is a Principal at Raine Ventures.

Previously, Landon worked as a Private Equity Associate at Tailwind Capital, and he started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Raine Venture Advisor Courtney Favreau
Courtney is a Raine Venture Advisor at Raine Ventures and is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Courtney joined Raine at its inception in 2009 and was part of the founding team of Raine’s venture capital group. Her responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, sourcing new deals, and working with existing portfolio companies. Courtney is on the board of directors of The Sill and Knock Knock Games.
Prior to joining Raine, Courtney worked in the Media & Communications group at UBS Investment Bank in New York.
Courtney graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia and holds a B.S. in Commerce.

Chief Operating Officer A.J. Chianese
A.J. serves as Chief Operating Officer of Raine, helping to manage all aspects of the firm’s operations. A.J. previously served as General Counsel of the firm before being promoted to COO in 2023.
Prior to joining Raine, A.J. was a practicing attorney at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he focused on private equity fund formation, private equity investments, mergers & acquisitions and general corporate matters, representing a diverse variety of private equity and strategic clients.
A.J. received a B.A. in philosophy and political science from Amherst College, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he was a McKay Scholar.

Chief Financial Officer - Management Company Joseph Beyrouty
Joe is the Chief Financial Officer – Management Company at Raine. On a global scale, Joe oversees accounting, tax and financial reporting for Raine. Prior to joining Raine, Joe was a vice president at Moelis & Company Holdings LP, a global investment bank, where he was responsible for overseeing US-based accounting operations. He has also worked at FTI Consulting, providing turnaround and restructuring advice to unsecured creditor committees; Deloitte & Touche LLP, as an auditor; and Value Line, Inc., as an equity research analyst.
Joe received his B.B.A. with a dual major in Finance and Economics from Emory University and his M.S. in Accountancy from CUNY – Baruch College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Chief Financial Officer - Principal Business Steve Gannalo
Steve Gannalo is Chief Financial Officer – Principal Business at Raine, where he oversees financial operations, accounting and reporting across all strategies of Raine’s investment business. Prior to joining Raine, Steve was a Senior Fund Accountant within the credit opportunities business at Fortress Investment Group. He began his career as an auditor at Rothstein Kass within its financial services practice.
Steve received his B.A. with a dual major in Accounting and Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Head of Tax Shpetime Kumbarce
Shpetime is Head of Tax at Raine.
Prior to joining Raine in 2018, Shpetime served as Vice President of Tax at PineBridge Investments LLC, a global asset manager, where she worked closely with business and corporate teams to meet the firm’s tax compliance and reporting obligations. Shpetime started her career at EisnerAmper LLP, a CPA firm, where she provided tax services to clients in the financial services industry.
Shpetime holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Baruch College.

Director of Human Resources Grace Mangan
Grace Mangan is the Director of Human Resources at Raine, overseeing the Firm’s human resource functions and recruiting. Previously, Grace worked within the Firm’s compliance department as a Legal and Compliance Associate. Grace has been with the Firm since 2009.
Grace graduated with a B.A. in English from Villanova University.

Chief Compliance Officer Renee Risher
Renee is the Chief Compliance Officer at Raine. Renee oversees and manages the compliance program and the reporting requirements for the Firm and its investment management and investment banking businesses. Prior to joining Raine, Renee was the Compliance Director at Altum Capital Management, a New York-based structured credit firm, where she was responsible for the management of all compliance obligations.
Renee has a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego and an M.F.A. from Columbia University.

General Counsel Daniel Satin
Daniel serves as General Counsel at Raine.
Prior to joining Raine in 2022, Daniel was Legal Counsel at the Meritage Group, a family-owned investment firm with in excess of $11 billion under management, where he was responsible for advising on and executing private equity, venture capital, real estate and private credit transactions, as well as working with portfolio companies on general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Meritage in 2018, Daniel was a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine and Moore LLP, where he focused on advising companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate governance.
Daniel received a B.S in journalism and political science from Northwestern University, and a J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law where he was a Robert McKay Scholar and a Lawrence Lederman Fellow in Law & Economics.
