Rounak Chandak

Rounak is a Vice President at Raine.
Prior to joining Raine, Rounak worked at Moelis & Company in India for 5 years. At Moelis, Rounak worked on various mergers & acquisitions and private fund-raising transactions for clients across the TMT, consumer & consumer internet and pharmaceutical sectors, including Pepperfry’s fund raise from State Street Corporation, InterGlobe Technology Quotient’s minority stake sale to Capital Group, Hector Beverages’ fundraise and KKR’s proposed acquisition of J B Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals.
Before joining Moelis, Rounak worked at Deutsche Bank in India, where he worked on Silver Eagle’s Acquisition of Videocon d2h, the first SPAC merger in India.
Rounak graduated from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi with an M.B.A in 2014. He also completed his Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology (Durgapur) in Mechanical Engineering.
