Michael Sabeti
Managing Director
Michael is a Managing Director at Raine and joined the firm in 2015. He is primarily focused on advisory and principal efforts across the music and live entertainment sectors.
Throughout his time at Raine, Michael has worked on a wide range of transactions, including the sale of Serato to Tiny Ltd., the sale of Stem Distribution to Concord, the sale of Opus Music, CVC’s minority investment in Superstruct Entertainment, Create Music Group’s $165 million capital raise from Flexpoint Ford, the landmark $5.2 billion Arm IPO, and the $21 billion merger of WWE and UFC.
Michael supports Raine’s investments in Duetti, Firebird Music, SoundCloud, and TelevisaUnivision. He has also led and supported several Raine portfolio company realizations, including the sales of Reigning Champs, Thrill One Sports & Entertainment, and Parchment.
Prior to joining Raine, Michael worked at C3 Presents, a former portfolio company of a Raine-sponsored fund.
Michael graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Finance.
