Jason is a Partner and the Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Raine. Upon joining the firm in May 2010, Jason focused on both investing and advising, leading several of Raine’s keynote transactions, including Sprint Corporation’s merger with T-Mobile USA, Grab’s acquisition of Uber Southeast Asia and SoftBank’s acquisitions of ARM Holdings and Sprint Corporation. In October 2016, Jason moved to London to lead Raine’s efforts across EMEA where he has continued to drive Raine’s advisory efforts, including the sale of Olympique Lyon to Eagle Football, the sale of Roald Dahl Story Company to Netflix and the sale of Moonbug Entertainment to Candle Media, while also expanding Raine’s growth equity presence in Europe, leading the firm’s investments in Moonbug Entertainment, Castore and Voi Technology.
Prior to Raine, Jason spent five years at UBS Investment Bank, where he worked on several landmark transactions, including the formation of Comcast’s JV with NBCU, Liberty Global’s acquisition of Unitymedia and the restructuring of Charter Communications. Before UBS, Jason spent five years at General Electric, graduating from the company’s Financial Management Program, followed by roles in Structured Finance and M&A.
Jason currently serves on the board of directors of Castore, Voi Technology and NextPlus – all Raine portfolio companies.
Jason has a B.A. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from London Business School.
