Heather Steinman
Vice President
Heather is a Vice President at Raine and joined the firm in 2014.
Heather is primarily focused on Raine’s Entertainment and Content practice, and works across both principal investing and advisory transactions in the space. Since joining Raine, Heather has worked closely with a variety of Raine’s clients and portfolio companies in developing and executing on their growth strategies globally.
Heather has been a part of a number of Raine’s notable advisory assignments including the development and execution of Endeavor’s corporate strategy, comprising its parent and China carve-out capital raises and eight acquisitions; the creation of Viacom’s BET+ streaming service with Tyler Perry Studios; helping formulate Fandango’s international expansion strategy and resulting acquisitions of Ingresso and Cinepapaya in Latin America; advising Universal on its film slate financing deal with Perfect World; and advising Starz’s Special Committee on its sale to Lionsgate. On the principal side of the business, Heather has been actively involved with Raine’s growth equity investments and portfolio companies in the content sector, including Imagine Entertainment, Propagate, Park County, and Vice.
Heather graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Heather received a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Operations & Information Management, and a minor in Cinema Studies from the College of Arts and Science.
