Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti
Senior Advisor
In the late-nineties, the idea of curating a shopping experience and creating a magazine that sold product were novel ones. But retail visionary Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti disregarded her detractors and instead launched the first editorial catalog – a term that has since morphed into “magalog” and a model that has been copied by countless brand-name magazines. Not one to stop after being christened by Time Magazine as a “mail-order magnate,” this citizen of the world continued to grow – and to follow her philosophy that life is about collecting, not shopping. Since launching Vivre in 2001 and being named one of Vogue’s “ten most stylish women in fashion,” Eva has evolved into the consummate tastemaker, a merchant with a distinct point of view, an intuitive marketer, and curator of the global luxury lifestyle. She has consulted with multi-national brands to develop store concepts; launched more than a dozen successful lines for the Home Shopping Network, under the V by Eva label; appeared on national television as a style expert; designed furniture, clothing and accessories for her own label as well as for other global brands; has contributed to countless books and articles on great taste; and has delivered speeches to major corporations and at top-tier conferences (Financial Times Global Conference, the Harvard Business School Entrepreneurship Conference, and the International Herald Tribune Luxury Conference). Eva has been the spokesperson for many iconic companies, including Blackberry, and has been hailed as one of Crain’s “40 Under 40.” She is currently the host of Luxury Explorer TV, a travel and lifestyle channel available exclusively to the top 250 hotels in the United States, and is the mentor on Lifetime’s prime-hit, Project Accessory. Meanwhile, Eva continues to search the world to discover unique objects for Vivre.com, her retail site that outperforms industry benchmarks by 300% in annual sales.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Eva received a business degree from Barnard College and began her career in finance at Lazard Freres. Truly a global nomad, Eva travels frequently and speaks five languages fluently. She lives in New York with her husband and two children.
